Wava W. Martin, 93 of Mountain Home passed away on Tuesday, August 8, 2011 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, August 11th at the Meridian Cemetery, 895 E. Franklin Rd.

Wava was born on January 20, 1918 to Samuel and Emma Cox in Parsons, KS. She married Kenneth Martin on July 2, 1935 in Nevada, Missouri. She enjoyed camping, fishing, painting and sewing. She is survived by her son, Ken Martin of Mountain Home; daughter-in-law Karen Martin of Boise; granddaughter Brenda and husband, Michael Stoecker of Mountain Home; grandson, Charles and wife Shellie Martin of Boise; great-grandchildren: Tracy and husband, Matt Schuyler of Tampa, FL, Chadd and wife, Kelli, Robin and husband, Jason Lekvold, Cassie and husband, Vince White, Jamie and husband, Chett Gregory all of Mountain Home, Kyle Martin, Clint Martin and Danielle Martin of Boise and six great-great grandchildren. Wava was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth and her son, Charles Leon.
