Virgil Lee Miller, 72 of Meridian, Idaho said his final good bye to us on July 27th 2009 after a long fight with illness. He was surrounded by his wife, children, grandchildren, sister and friends.

In honor of his wishes we are having no viewing or funeral, but we are having an old fashion Irish Wake. His friends and family are gathering with a favorite dish and memories to celebrate his joy of life, which he had until the end, on Saturday, Aug 8th from 3-6 pm at the Village Pub, 9936 W. Virgil and his wife Bonnie celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on June 20th of this year. Virgil has left his joy and outlook of living life to the fullest, to his 4 children, Doug and his wife Diana, and their sons, Jake, Jerry and Troy Mortensen, Desiree Hruska and her husband Michael, and their children, Samuel and Miranda, David and his children, Andrea and Jeffery, and Daniele Evans and her husband Alan, and their sons, Brett and Bryce. Life was always full of adventures and excitement when Virgil was near.  We will miss him greatly, and we know he sends his love to all who knew him and he would say “Cheers live your life to the fullest!”
