Terrence “Terry” William Neilson, 67 of Boise formerly of Pocatello passed away at his home Saturday, September 17, 2011.
Terry was born on November 21, 1943 in Minnedosa Manitoba Canada to Otto and Lillian Neilson. He was raised in Erickson Manitoba and attended schools there. He married Patricia Slobodian in 1967, and from this union he was blessed with 3 children. Terry moved from Brandon Manitoba to Pocatello, Idaho in 1982. He married Gayla Covington Aragon in Pocatello in 1988. They moved to Boise in 2003. Terry worked for JR Simplot Company and Idaho State University in Pocatello. He enjoyed NASCAR, football, fishing and woodworking. He is survived by his wife, Gayla of Boise; son, Darren Neilson; daughter, Shelley (Scott) Hardenbrook and son Kevin (Randi) Neilson all of Pocatello; step sons: Marc Aragon of Kansas City, Brian (Jennifer) Aragon of Pocatello; and step daughter, Christine Aragon of Boise; grandchildren: Shleace, Talise, Tyler, Taylor, Breidyn, Caidyn, Morgan, Tresore¢, Anthony, Tierney, McKenna and Jackson; sister, Cheryl Bagnall of Lethbridge, Canada; numerous nieces and nephews; and his most loyal companion, Chica. Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Bryan Neilson.

Terry was foreman of our crew at Simplots after he came down from Canada. He was pretty sharp and also a good guy. It is not very often that a good guy can run an efficient crew but Terry could. We considered him a friend even after he left Simplots. quin.gilbert@yahoo Sender's Name: Jack Dodds
