“Some people come into our lives and quickly go. Some stay for awhile and leave footprints on our hearts. And we are never, ever the same. Ruth, you and Larry were such important friends to us and we still love you so much. You definitely left "footprints" on our hearts. I'm sad for Larry's passing, but rejoice that he is with Jesus. May you and your family be warmed with His peace and love. Love you, Patti

I worked with Larry clear back in 1981 at the FMC Training Center. What a hoot he was! But he was also so much a gentleman and so very nice. He had me do a training video for the "Upright Tiger Manlift" At least I think that's what it was called. It was so fun. Amazing I went on to do commercials for my own business with my late husband, Vern, at Big O Tires. I was so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers go out to Ruth and the family. Cherish the memories & know he will always be with you. Maxine Nielson

I met Larry through the Elk's Hospital. I went to his home for a home evaluation early on in his illness. I shared with him a tatoo of a scripture verse that I had just gotten. He shared with me his passion for heaven. I stayed visiting with him long after the home evaluation was complete. He sent me home with a booklet about heaven and, now, I share that booklet with people going through difficult times. I will always remember Larry and that special visit I had with him and look forward to seeing him again. What a great family he has.

Ruth, The day has arrived for you to rejoice with Larry's homegoing but with it comes the pain of releasing him into the arms of Jesus. The deep pain you feel of letting him go along with the extreme joy you have in knowing his pain is over gives you mixed emotions. Only God can comfort you at this difficult time. You and Larry were such a blessing to Jim and I when you took us to the Mexican restaurant around 5 years ago. Larry had a big impact on Jim's conversion. I love you, Ruth. Phone me whenever you need to talk with someone. Marion Sears

Larry was a my good friend and brother in Christ. When I first met him I knew who and what he stood for. He was a man of God and that is why I Loved being around him. I really enjoyed all our time together going to coffee, fishing , and Bible Studies.  If anyone could lift my spirits he could. I will miss him but I know he is home now with our Father and that brings joy to my heart.  Ruth I know that you will be OK because of your faith in Christ but the grief you must endure from his loss I’m sure is great. So I want you to know that Marie and I will always be here for you.  We will also pray that God will give you and your family the comfort only He can provide.
