Nicole Stull Schumacher Print

Nicole Marie Stull Schumacher, also known as “Little Red” or “Auntie Kiki”, passed away on January 19th, 2010 at her father’s home in Meridian, Idaho.  She died of natural causes at a young age of 25.

altNicole was born to Nora Kaye Schumacher and Melvin George Schumacher on July 30, 1984 in Kellogg, Idaho. She had one older brother, Leo Shane Stull.  He went by Shane. Shane was called to Heaven 9 years ago, and I believe he was with his sister and held her hand as he led her home.

While attending Horizon Elementary School in Boise, Nicole pieced together an amazing work of art that was displayed beautifully for an entire year inside the Idaho Art Museum.

Little Red was just like any other child growing up.  She was full of energy and endless silly surprises. She never let a rainy day keep her inside or spoil her fun. She had a way of turning your ugly, dark, endless days into a day you wish you could live over and over again, with only sharing a smile.

Nicole loved to swim, sit and relax in the hot springs, camp, and hang with her family and friends along with her dog Buddy.  She loved Tinker Bell and favored the color pink. You might say as unique as she was that she was one in a million. I say she was one of a kind, period. Her loving personality and her sincere sense of compassion was shown, as she would help her father who found if difficult to get around day by day. And also how she made the time to take care of her Uncle Marvin after he had knee surgery.

Although she made her share of mistakes, she was able to learn from them and work hard on making right. She somehow had the ability to see the good out of the bad and make the best out of the worst. This I truly admire.

Nicole owned a heart of gold. She was paving a rocky path she once traveled and turning it into a clearer and safer one so that nobody was afraid to walk beside her. She held both her parents heart in her hand, and still does.

Nicole will be strongly missed and never forgotten.

Nicole is survived by her parents, Nora Kaye Schumacher, of Boise, Idaho and Melvin George Schumacher of Meridian, Idaho. She leaves behind a daughter, Alexandria Kaye Stull, goes by Allie. She has many aunts and uncles and has two nieces; three nephews, several cousins and more friends than some will have in their lifetime.

Here are only a few words that her loving parents say sum up her life. Happy, Joyous, Innocence, Carefree, Thoughtful and Free.

My dear little cousin who awaits us in heaven!  Thank you for being part of our life. We love you.
