Millie was devoted to God and his work all of her life. She had a gift for welcoming everyone and making them feel special. She shared her love for the Lord and her family with everyone that was honored to know her. Millie attended her church’s college “Graceland College” in Lamoni, Iowa. She was a school teacher for a few years and then had various part time jobs while being a stay at home mom and raising her four children. Millie had a love for music and a good singing voice. She played the clarinet, saxophone and piano. She was known for playing the piano and putting together special music for church services. One of her greatest joys was cooking and entertaining family and friends. Everyone loved Millie and she had so many wonderful friends everywhere she had lived. She was mom to many and the best “Grandma Millie” to all. Millie is survived by her children: Barbara Mitchell, New Plymouth, ID, Sandee (Tony) Hill, Meridian, ID, Tom (Nancy) Faircloth, Sandy, UT, Laurie (Rhett) Taylor, Lynnwood, WA. She is also survived by her sisters: Mary (Darrell) Argotsinger, Woodbine, IA and Shirley Michael, Logan, IA. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas D. Faircloth, daughter Mary Ann Faircloth, brothers Ralph Young, Charles Young, Lloyd Young, Ronald (Bill) Young and sister Doris Jacobsen. The funeral will be held Friday November 4, 2011 10:00 AM at the Community of Christ Church in Boise, ID at 408 N. Garden. A viewing will be held at Accent Funeral Home 1303 North Main Street, Meridian, ID on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM and Friday morning at the church prior to services from 8:45 -9:45 AM. Interment will be in Skyview Memorial Cemetery, Pendleton Oregon Friday 4:00 PM. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com.

She was born on November 27, 1926 in Woodbine, Iowa to Undine and Lee Roy Young. She married Thomas Faircloth October 15, 1947 and they made their home in Eastern Oregon. After Tom’s death in January of 1989 Millie found her home in New Plymouth Idaho.
