Lynn was born in Nampa, Idaho December 2, 1937, the first child of Leland and Wenonah (Browne) Carlson.  Lynn spent his childhood in Nampa and graduated from Nampa High School in 1955.  He entered the Navy the same year and honorably discharged in 1959.  Lynn enrolled at Boise State University in 1966 and graduated with a B.B.A. in 1970 holding a GPA of 3.5 and was Treasurer of the Esquires, a University Service Organization.

In 1967 he met and married the love of his life Barbra Jones and together they raised a wonderful son John Blaine Carlson whom he loved very much.

He served in various  management  positions in Boise spending his last 18 years at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center as Manager of Accounting and Payroll, retiring in 1994 at the age of 57.

Lynn is survived by his wife Barbra, their son John and his wife Merri and four grandchildren, Whitney, Joshua, Stephanie, and Michael.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

I still have all the films(now videos) of Lynn and myself taken by his mother when we were young children. He was great then and he grew up to be very intelligent and witty. With my love to Barbra, John and family.
