Josh, we miss you deeply. You will always have a place in our hearts which will always be vacant for you. Jennifer, Brandon, Roy, Jessica, and Greg, we are so very sorry for your loss. Josh was so full of life and joy. He brought joy into our lives. He was always so giving of his time even through hard times we were having in our family. We see constant reminders of Josh in all of the rooms he helped us paint. We will never forget the camping trips in which he spent literally hours trying to start the fire with his flint and steel, building potato guns, and eating so much it made him sick. We are praying for all of you through this and please if there is any thing we can do to help, please let us know. In loving memory of Josh, Matt, Melodee, Jessica, and Joel Sather. Marsha & I send our heartfelt condolences and share grief over this tragedy. Joshua was my finest student at Boise State last semester. I was proud to recommend him as the recipient of the Phi Delta Kappa's (the educational Honor Society) Outstanding Student Scholarship and membership. He attended the PDK banquet last May, and he made a lasting impression on everyone there. His enthusiam for study, and his natural gift with people was truly one of a kind. We had a personal reason to love Joshua as well. Our son Joel was striken with cancer and a patient at St. Luke's Joshua went out of his way to greet us and encourage us as we waited through surgery and treatment. His smile, his kind thoughts, his postive outlook gave us such comfort in a time of trial. I am honored to say that I was one of his professors. He will always be remembered and loved. Our sorrow is great and words cannot adequately express our feelings now. May God be with you during this time. Sender's Name: Mary Vi Gleason

Hey Josh, You would be so happy to see all of the people coming together because of you. Everyone misses you and your bright smile. I'm so very sorry that we didn't get to see each other more often after high school but I know that you are smiling down on all of us. Thank you for all of the memories and I hope that you are having fun on your next adventure. Your spirit will never die in the people that have been blessed to know you. A man with an ever-ready bright smile, sparkling eyes, quick wit, and great stories...I too will miss Joshua. Dear family, and many friends -- you've been in my earnest prayers. God is trustworthy. I'm struggling to find meaningful words of sympathy and encouragement. Please know this desire is heartfelt. I have also known grief in the loss of a child. Peace through Christ. May you know His comfort and hope. ~~Kathy Sender's Name: Amy Neznanski My heart goes out to all who grieve for the tragic loss of Josh. I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Josh at St Luke's. He was such a vibrant and joyful man. His upbeat attitude was contagious. Our patients would arrive back to their rooms talking about what a wonderful person he was. How he brought a glimmer of light and happiness to them in their days of sickness. A funny joke or gentle words of reassurance were lasting impressions for them all. Josh was so generous. He graciously opened up his families home to me, my boyfriend Alex and our children. When we were looking for a place to take our children to horseback ride, he showed no hesitation in offering his time, or animals. Both he and his family opened their home to us with such generosity. He was so happy that day. Guiding the children around on the horses. His smile grew bigger by the minute. He seemed to be having as much fun as the kids, if not more. He made the children feel special. I will forever remember that day. Josh will be missed by all whose lives he has touched. Sender's Name: Dorain Bernier
