John E. Page Print

John Page, 66, of Meridian, entered into the Lord's presence on June 3, 2009 after a courageous two-year battle with lung cancer.

altJohn was born in San Diego, CA on March 24, 1943.  He married Karen Whitman on June 30, 1961.  He resided in Southern California most of his life before moving to Meridian in 1997.

John devoted his life to providing for his family, teaching, encouraging and sharing God's word with many.  He was a man of integrity and humor who caused all around him to laugh at his silliness and ponder his wise words.  Although he is no longer physically present, he will continue to influence the lives of family and friends.

John is survived by his wife, Karen Page; children, Keith and Gina Page of Newport Beach, CA, Jodi and Robert Toffelmier of Meridian, and Jana and Jon Cochran of Orange, CA; grandchildren: Torie, Lauren, Buzz and Alisha Toffelmier, Porter and Maggie Cochran, and Avery and Alix Page and a brother, Gary.

A Celebration of John's Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Thursday, June 11, 2009 at the Meridian Friends Church, 1021 W. Pine Ave., Meridian.  Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.  Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.accentfuneral.com

The family deeply appreciates Dr. Lisa Law, the caring staff at MSTI Meridian and Kendra and Gail of St. Luke's Hospice.  The family suggests memorial contributions be made to MSTI Meridian or St. Luke's Hospice.  We also wish to thank our supportive friends and family for their love and many acts of kindness.

Babe/Dad/Papa – We will miss your big bear hugs and sweet cinnamon kisses.  We thank God for every day we had with you and that we will get to see you again one day in heaven.  Thank you for teaching us the meaning of your favorite verse, Romans 8:28 "All things work together for good to those that love the Lord and are called according to His purpose."  Well done, Dad!
