Jessie M. Hubble Print
 Jessie began her life in Kuna on June 6th 1919, and left this world June 23, 2011 after 92 years.   altaltShe was born to Jerome (Jerry) and Martha Ritchie Marmolejo.  She grew up in Kuna and graduated from Kuna High School in 1937.  Jessie married Henry Slaathaug on December 23, 1937.  Together they had three children: Hollie (Karren) Slaathaug of Boise, Gary (Mary) Slaathaug of Meridian, and Sharie Peterson of Kuna.  After 18 years of marriage, Henry passed away in 1955.

While working at J.R. Simplot, Jessie met Allen Eugene Hubble and they married in 1957.  With this marriage she gained two daughters and a son: Sara (Marcus) Carlton of San Antonio, Texas, Donna (Michael) Gerity of Seattle, Washington, and David (Sandi) Hubble of Lewiston, Idaho.  Together Jessie and Allen had one son, Kevin (Pam) Hubble of Cascade, Idaho.  They also adopted two of their grandchildren, Jeremy Hubble and Becky Hubble.

Jessie was family oriented and merged the families with ease. Throughout the years she remained involved with her ever growing family, and was loved by all.  She sent birthday and holiday wishes to each and every one of her 24 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 11 great-great grandchildren.

Jessie was an active member of the Kuna United Methodist Church.  She enjoyed visiting friends at Care Centers and Hospitals, sitting by to provide support. Through her lifetime she was active with The Eastern Star, Kuna Grange, Nampa Tops Club, and Rebekahs.  One of her favorite past times was her many trips to the mountains, and those many visits to Cascade.

Jessie is preceded in death by Allen Hubble, her husband of 52 years, two of her sisters: Bernita Aldape and Betty Virden; her brothers: Cloyd and Ray Woodward, her parents and her first husband, Henry Slaathaug. She is survived by her one remaining sister, Amy Randall, of Nampa, ID and family members mentioned above.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 28th at the Kuna United Methodist Church.  Pastor John Watts will officiate.  Burial will follow at the Kuna Cemetery.  A visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 PM to 7 PM on Monday, June 27th  at Accent Funeral Home, 1303 N. Main Street, Meridian. (888-5833).
