James "Jim" House, 66 of Kuna died on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with Chronic Lymphatic Leukemia at a St. Luke's Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, August 28th at Meridian Gospel Tabernacle, 1507 N. Meridian Rd. Graveside services will be held in Cassadaga, NY. Services are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.
Jim was born July 14, 1943 to Donald and Doris (Wilcox) House in Jamestown, New York. He graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. After his discharge from the Air Force he attended Bakersfield Junior College and graduated from the University of California at Bakersfield. He moved to Meridian in 1978 and he was employed as a construction superintendent. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf. Jim is survived by his life partner, Sharon House, step-son, Scott of Paonia, CO; granddaughter, Alissa of Paonia, CO; mother, Doris of Cassadaga, NY; brothers: Jack (Suzanne) of Meridian, ID and Donald (Donna); Niece, Jennifer (Rick) Vahl and great niece, Cortney Vahl all of Cassadaga, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and step-son, Todd. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Jim's name to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Donor Services, P.O.
