Gary Lee Inga slipped gently from our lives early morning on January 22, 2012 in his Meridian home due to natural causes.
Gary was born on May 19th 1948 in Los Angeles California by former parents, Frank “Curly” Inga and Josephine Chiodo. He was the third of four boys and completed his education at Linwood High School in 1966. Gary enlisted into the United States Army and was extremely proud of his service to our country, after 2 years he received an honorable discharge. Gary experienced his first marriage in 1971 and was married for nearly 23 years. In 1975 Gary was blessed with his first daughter Adria and in 1986 the family moved to the Boise area to experience more of a country life style. A place where there was less traffic and beautiful scenery. In 1987, Gary was blessed with his second daughter Lacey and chose his life long career as a field service engineer at Micron; where he was driven for over 20 years.
On December, 8 1995 he married Evelyn Weeks Durrant. Together, for more than 16 years, they experienced the changing scenes of life in the joyous and fruitful companionship brought to them by the lord himself. Gary retired at the age of 62 and was looking forward to doing the things he enjoyed such as traveling and visiting the places he loved most, like the Oregon coast, the mountains, and family that resided outside of Idaho. Gary always embraced the time he had with his family while celebrating milestones and cherishing the family get-togethers. Although Gary retired he chose to return to work as a part time help desk technician for the City of Nampa where he used his technical experience to touch the lives of others until the last breath he took.
Surviving along with his wife Evelyn are his two daughters from his previous marriage to Cheryl Holuk; Adria Inga (James McCaw) and Lacey Inga. Two step-daughters: Taunia Grossman (Paul) and April Gaylord (Caleb), six step-sons: Greg Durrant, Glen Durrant, Edward Durrant (Hailey), Brett Durrant (Melinda), Bruce Durrant (Tammy), Nick Durrant (Kari). He is also remembered and loved by 23 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and 2 brothers, James and Jerry Inga. He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Inga Sr., mother, Josephine Chiodo Inga, and eldest brother, Frank Inga Jr.
The family wishes to thank all of those who shared loving thoughts and prayers along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
