Evon was one very special lady! Kind, caring, sincere. We knew her through the Meridian United Methodist Church, where she was a "regular" for many years, and was also a very active member of United Methodist Women. She was always doing something for others. For many years she prepared delicious meals for the students at BSU. She was one of those people who not only had a deep, sincere, genuine Christian faith, but also put her faith into action.

Dear Martha and Duane, It was with much sadness that I read of your mother's passing. I so much enjoyed my association with her, Guy and all of you. Retirement has left a void in my life in that contact with wonderful families such as yours who I have known for so long is lost.
