Elizabeth Rose Wikle, the youngest of 11 children born to Josef and Anastazia Celmer,

was born on June 6, 1912 in Sherman County Nebraska.  She married Henry Wikle in 1930; adopted 2 sons: Joseph Oren and Robert Dell.  After 52 years of marriage, Henry died in 1982.  After Henry's death, Elizabeth continued to live independently until her death on December 3, 2011.  Elizabeth enjoyed visiting with family and friends, quilting, needlework, fishing, gardening and gambling.  By Elizabeth's request, no funeral services will be held.  Arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian.  Remembrances may be left online for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com.

Dear Bob, I'm sorry for the loss of your mother. I was your Mother's Student Nurse from BSU we had talked a couple of times. I saw her on the 29th, I gave her a present a red stocking hat, something to keep her warm she was always so chilly. She was very happy when I left her talking away. I had seen her Rosary beads so that tells me she believed in God and is now in his presence. She was a lovely lady with a kind sporit. God Bless, Connie
