Carmel Denstaedt Print

Carmel J. Denstaedt, 90, formerly of Palm Harbor, Florida, passed away on September 24, 2009. 

altCarmel was born in Wahpeton, North Dakota to Joseph and Otillia Klosterman.  She was predeceased by her husband John, five brothers, Alfred, Leander, Rolland, Robert and James, and two sisters, Mildred and Alice.  She was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church.  Carmel is survived by her loving daughter Mary Frances (Booth), son-in-law, LTC(R) Ed Booth, Jr., granddaughters, Meaghan and Sarah and brother, Danny Klosterman.

Carmel was a Customer Service Representative with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan for many years before she became a full time mother.  Her family was the light of her life.  She was an active gardener, always enjoying her beautiful roses.  She was also active with the Highland Lakes Ladies Golf League, winning a number of awards.

A funeral mass will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at St. Ignatius of Antioch Roman Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs, Florida.  Interment of her ashes will be at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens, Palm Harbor. 

The family requests no flowers, but suggests memorials be made to The Cottages of Meridian, 3199 West Belltower, Meridian, ID 83646.
