Anthony Morfin Print
Noel "Anthony" Morfin was born Sept. 5, 1962, the beloved son of Noel Morfin and Marion Morfin Bertel.
After losing a courageous battle with leukemia, Anthony went home to be with the Lord the evening of June 7, 2011.

altAnthony held various jobs during his life, including a restaurant cook (he really enjoyed preparing meals), a roofer, a machinist, a motorcycle courier, and in construction. While living in California, Anthony trained to be a stuntman, learning how to take head-first dives out of hay loft barn windows, and how to stage precisely-timed -- and very dangerous -- wooden ax handle fights. His great love was riding motorcycles (he loved the adrenaline rush of anything that went fast), spending time with family and friends, and watching TV and movies. We will all remember Anthony for his quiet, gentle, loving spirit.

In 1999, Anthony was diagnosed with leukemia. Although the doctors at that time said his chances of survival were slim, the Lord blessed him with over eleven years.

Anthony is survived by his parents, Noel Morfin and Marion Morfin Bertel; stepparents, Dana Morfin and Steve Bertel;  sisters: Michelle Elliott and Amber Dessel; brother  Troy Morfin; sons: Michael, Troy and Christian Morfin; daughter, Blake Caldwell; granddaughter Kaylynn; uncle, Bill Odom; aunt,  Rhondy Odom; niece Amanda Borg; nephews: Brandon and Blake Elliott; and various other nieces and nephews.

Anthony is preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin Burl and Lillian Odom, and Isaac and Beatriz Morfin; his uncles, Mel and Don Odom; cousin, Bradley Odom; and good friend, Tony Lewis.

We all love you and we’ll all miss you very much, Anth.
