I think Andrew had the ability to make a friend with anybody which made him extra special and known by diverse people. He was intense in his conversations which drew you in. I have seen him willing to help anybody in any situation if he could. I am especially appreciative of his care for our son John who he had a hand in stearing away from bad choices. I wish I had more time with him and I will certainly miss him and his sushi! Love you Andrew, Connie Cady. Sender's Name: Pat Akers

Drew lived life to the fullest. He had a hunger to experience everything and everyone. His love for the outdoors began at a young age on the ski slopes of Montana and Washington, where he became a talented skier, invited to join the Jr. National racing team. The last 10 years of his life Drew and his son Ashton could be found skiing together every winter weekend at Bogus Basin. If Drew wasn’t skiing, he was on a boat or bank fishing. He found fishing relaxing and the water peaceful. Drew was also a food enthusiast and passionate about cooking. His specialty was Sushi, often hired as the Sushi chef for private parties. He was an avid gardener, always planting the biggest garden in the neighborhood and canning massive amounts of salsa and pickles. In the last year of his life, Drew finally experienced the dream of owning a Harley Davidson. He loved and embraced everything about the bike, including being a member of the Original Sinners Motorcycle Club.
