He was a big man with an even bigger heart. Don was loved by many and before his passing he was gifted with visits not by only family but friends from his childhood, his college days and every job he had during his 66 years on this earth. He loved everyone he ever met and they loved him back.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; six children; twenty-one grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and his brother, Dick Caskey of Roseville, CA along with many nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed. There will be no funeral, according to his wishes, however there will be a memorial service held in the spring. Further notice will be given to everyone who came to visit and to everyone who called. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Accent Funeral Home, Meridian. 888-5833. Remembrances may be left for the family at www.AccentFuneral.com

My thoughts and prayers are with the family at this very sad time. I have known Don for over twenty years, he was a wonderful kind person, I never remember him ever saying a negative thing about anybody. He will be missed. I am so glad that I was able to visit with don and the family recently and was amazed by his upbeat attitude, he was one of a kind.

Dick Caskey Was surprised and saddened to see that your brother passed away Jan 14. I also lost one of my brothers a couple years ago. It is always a sad time for the family. I don't think I ever met Donald but know anyone in the Caskey family has to be an ok person. Hope you and your family are all well and in good health. I'll always remember the good days with Sundries before Albertsons bought us and the good days after they bought us. I send my prayers to you and the family. Jack

Don Caskey was a good friend and colleague for many years. I remember him as a great conversationalist...the fact that he could recite Shakespeare from memory was sensational and entertained us at work on many occasions. We want his fmily to know we valued his friendship and wish them peace in his untimely passing. We leave our condolences. Godspeed. Dennis and Deanna Torfin Boise, Idaho
